I deposited money but my broker will not let me withdraw. What should I do?

My withdrawal has been "pending" for weeks and support now asks for a fee. I am worried.

I am sorry, this is stressful. Some practical steps:

  • Stop depositing. Be very careful with any request for "fees", "tax" or "verification deposits" before a withdrawal. These are common in scams.
  • Save everything: screenshots, emails, chat logs and transaction receipts.
  • Make a written withdrawal request and a written complaint to the broker.
  • If you paid by card or bank transfer, contact your bank quickly about a chargeback or dispute.
  • Report the broker to the financial regulator in your country and to the cybercrime authority.

Beware of "fund recovery" services that contact you first and ask for a fee. These are often a second scam.
